Aug. 26 was the start of the fall semester at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Plant and Landscape System and Agronomy majors in Anne Streich's PLAS 95 Orientation Seminar participate in group and individual activities to help them discover career opportunities, improve their academic success skills, identify beneficial co-curricular activities, and select appropriate internships.
Meghan Sindelar, associate professor of practice, instructs PLAS 132 Agronomic Plant Science Lab students in the East Campus Teaching Garden. The students learn about the growth, development, morphology and staging of annual and perennial monocot and dicot plants produced for grain, forage and grazing.
