The annual Lincoln Earth Day celebration is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 19 at Nebraska Innovation Campus. The event will feature dozens of booths that promote, educate and celebrate environmental stewardship, green education and sustainable living.
Events include:
- Kickoff from City Councilman Tom Beckius
- 50-plus organizations from the Lincoln area
- Family-friendly activities including: face painting, baby goats, Book Mobile with Lincoln City
- Libraries and Lincoln Earth Day Passport
- Live music
- Local food
- Clothing swap: 15-item limit, $1 sale from 1-2 p.m. if you didn’t bring anything to swap
- Safety skills
- Bike maintenance
- Bike decorating
- Bike cleaning
