The UNL annual spring plant sale will run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 28–29 on East Campus located east of Plant Sciences Hall in the Teaching Greenhouse West.

A wide variety of annual bedding plants, vegetables, herbs, and ready-made planters will be sold by the UNL Horticulture Club.

Seeding, transplanting and daily watering has been done by club members. The plants are grown from either a plug or seed. Members typically begin seeding at the end of January and get the plugs in the middle of February, so it's a semester-long project, according to Horticulture Club President Kara Sousek.

If there are more plants to sell after April 29 the club will extend the sale to April 30, 9 a.m. to noon. For a map to the building and more information, go to http://hortclub.unl.edu/watch-spring-sales-late-april.
