Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented summer Civil Engineering Intern who is interested in pursuing a career in consulting engineering with a focus in the water sector. As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and project teams to contribute actual work to the projects we are delivering.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the project team to support the design, planning, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Assist in conducting feasibility studies, site assessments, and engineering analyses to determine project viability and develop design solutions.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and reports in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and fieldwork to monitor construction progress, identify issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information back to the project team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Growth mindset and someone who looks to capitize on opportunities.
