Missouri S&T: Immediate opening for a geotechnical or geological engineering teaching professor position

The Department of Geosciences and Geological and Petroleum Engineering (GGPE) and the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering (CArEE) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) invite applications for an Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor (non-tenure track) position in Geological Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering to begin in August 2024. The successful candidate will be jointly appointed to GGPE and CArEE, with the former being the home department. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The applicant for this position will teach a variety of courses, which may include engineering geology, rock engineering, subsurface exploration, geological engineering design, soil mechanics, and other courses depending on the expertise of the faculty member and the needs of the department. The faculty member should be prepared to teach both undergraduate and graduate students.
