NIWR Student Travel Scholarships:
NIWR is funding student travel scholarships to the UCOWR/NIWR/AWRA 60th Anniversary Water Resources Conference in St. Louis, supporting travel for up to two students per NIWR region. The submission deadline is May 31.
The National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) is sponsoring travel awards for students to attend the joint UCOWR/NIWR/AWRA conference from September 30-October 2, 2024 in St. Louis, Missouri. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. UPDATE: As of 4-23-24, you no longer are required to submit an abstract to qualify for the travel award! Students should fill out the form on their own, with one entry per student please. Students must be currently enrolled at an institution of higher education (this includes community colleges). Two students per NIWR region will be selected at random. Awards will range from $1,200 to $2,500 depending on the region, and will be awarded as a direct payment stipend. **The deadline to apply has been extended!** The new deadline is Friday May 31, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Those selected will be notified via email by Friday June 14, 2024.
