The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is a global organization of transportation professionals dedicated to advancing transportation knowledge and practices for the benefit of society.
The goal of our student chapter is to introduce future engineers to the exciting world of transportation, highlighting its opportunities and challenges in a fun and engaging way.
This first meeting will serve as an introduction for students to meet the new faculty advisor, Dr. Nathan Huynh, and the Nebraska Section of ITE (NITE) student chapter liaison, Peyton Weiss. Peyton will share his experiences with the UNL ITE student chapter during his time as a student and how it helped pave his path to becoming a transportation engineer.
