The next time you pull into a campus parking meter with Passport access, you will notice changes in operation. Using Passport services to pay for parking meters on campus is now easier.
In the past, users identified the exact space for online payment. With the installation of improved options, users will need to enter only the zone number. All parking sessions will be tracked by license plate number.
The zone number will be displayed on each meter or by signs in the lot. Not all portions of a parking lot are necessarily included in the Passport Zone, so check the signs carefully.
This step eliminates the potential for entering the wrong space number and receiving a parking citation with accompanying fine.
To use Passport, first register and set up an account at https://ppprk.com/park/
Vehicles are identified by license plate number and multiple vehicles can be included in one account. Keep license information current and accurate.
The switch to Passport zones is being made on a parking zone by parking zone basis. Watch for the identification information on the meter or adjacent sign to use the pay-by-phone service.

A limited number of meters that accept coin payment still will be available on campus. If a meter does not have a Passport sticker, you will need to pay with coins.
