Bus and van services connect university campuses with full weekday routes and schedules. The university contracts with the City of Lincoln StarTran to provide buses. University Parking and Transit Services offers campus van services.

To ensure adequate social distancing for bus riders, additional buses follow the scheduled Routes 24 and 25. Beginning Monday, October 5, Windstar Lines will now provide the additional service with three buses on Route 24 and one bus on Route 25.

The additional service begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m.

Bus and van services include enhanced features as part of campus Covid-19 procedures.
Transportation is following campus guidelines for personal hygiene, prevention, and well-being measures.
• All UNL faculty, staff, students, and visitors will wear facial coverings when riding buses and vans on the UNL campus, with a few exceptions.
• Hand sanitizer dispensers are available on the vehicles.
• Vehicle surfaces are regularly cleaned.
• To minimize prolonged contact at this time, no app, pass or fee is required to ride the bus or van.

Routes, schedules, and other rider information are detailed at Campus Bus Service https://parking.unl.edu/campus-bus-service
