The University of Nebraska Homecoming Celebration on Friday, October 1 will bring guests to campus for a variety of events. These events will affect parking and access in the Memorial Mall area.
Parking
To accommodate the parade and activities, the west half of the north row of Area A parking along Vine Street will be unavailable for parking. Faculty and Staff Area A permit holders who typically park in this area can park at the Nebraska Champions Club Area A or in the 14th and Avery garage above Level 1.
The Area F03/D01 designated spaces in the northwest corner of the lot are reserved for festival activities. Remaining F03 and D01 parking spaces will be available.
Street Closing
Between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
There will be no access in and out of the Memorial Mall area. Vine Street will close between 14th and 16th Streets for the parade. If you are a F03/D01 permit holder, we encourage you to exit the lot prior to 4:30 p.m. or park in the 14th and Avery garage above Level 1 to ensure access to your vehicle.
