Homecoming Game Day: Follow parking rules

DSC00052.JPG

Husker Homecoming football game is on Saturday and campus parking rules change to welcome fans and visitors.
Faculty and staff permit parking areas, including reserved, non-reserved and garages, are reassigned on home football game days.

Campus parking permit holders cannot park in standard assigned parking areas during game day preparation and activities. Parking areas close at 10 p.m. Friday. Vehicles parked in violation of campus rules can be ticketed and towed.

Vehicles with faculty and staff Permit Event Stickers may park only in these designated campus areas on game days:
• Surface lots at 16th and X Streets (east side of 16th Street near the Boathouse) and 1700 Y Street.
• Perimeter lot at 15th and Court Streets.
• Devaney Sports Center lots at 16th and Court Streets.

PERMIT EVENT STICKERS
With the campus License Plate Recognition System, the vehicle license plate serves as the parking permit identification. For faculty and staff with a surface lot permit, a Permit Event Sticker is required for Husker football games. Garage permit holders must display their hangtags.

The sticker does NOT provide expanded campus parking during Husker football games. Game day parking remains limited to designated areas. For details, check UNL Parking Permit Holder Parking https://parking.unl.edu/athletic-events-parking#fb-faculty

Permit Event Stickers are available at no additional cost to permit holders at the Parking and Transit Services office, 625 Stadium Drive, Suite A.
