Passes are now required to use StarTran buses. Bus riders must display the pass to board and ride the bus.
The return of required passes became effective Monday, October 17. They had been suspended for COVID-19 guidelines.
Faculty and staff campus parking permit holders can receive a bus pass at no additional cost.

• Request a bus pass and it will be mailed to you through campus mail.
• Or: If you need the pass more quickly, make the email request and indicate you will pick it up at Parking and Transit Services, 625 Stadium Drive, Suite A.
If you do not have a parking permit, you may purchase the bus pass separately.

• Or: Complete the PDF form at https://parking.unl.edu/documents/Parking-Permit-Application-Form.pdf and bring the form to Parking and Transit Services, 625 Stadium Drive, Suite A. Applications are also available in the office.
No pass is required for Parking and Transit Services campus van services, Route 23, running between East Campus and Innovation Campus.
