The new program to download your mobile StarTran bus pass is now available.
This mobile pass will be required for bus ridership, effective November 1.
Download the mobile pass to your phone and display when boarding a bus.
To register and receive your mobile bus pass:
• Link to the registration form at https://tokentransit.com//startran/unl-pass
• Enter your mobile phone number.
• Enter your NU identification number as “Password.”
• Click the “Send Pass” button.
• Will receive text with link to download Token Transit app. If already downloaded to your phone, go to “My Passes.”
• To activate the bus pass on your phone, select the app and enter your phone number. A code will be sent to you to complete the activation.
To use, tap your mobile pass on the Token Transit app to activate. Show the moving, animated ticket to the bus driver when boarding.
As a UNL student, you receive the mobile bus pass at no additional cost as part of the student transit fees fund.
StarTran bus services connect City and East campuses. The pass is also good for all StarTran routes across the city.
No pass is required for Parking and Transit Services campus van services, Route 23, connecting East Campus and Innovation Campus.
