Lincoln Marathon will impact City Campus

The Lincoln Marathon will be held Sunday, May 7, and City Campus is a key area for the race and related weekend events. The marathon route includes sections of City Campus, including start and finish lines.

Parking restrictions, heavy traffic, runners and fans will be factors throughout the weekend.

Parking and traffic changes on campus include:
• Parking and streets in the dark blue areas in the accompanying map will have access and parking limits on Sunday, May 7.
• If you are parked in the dark blue areas prior to 5:30 a.m. you may remain parked there, but you will not be able to enter or leave until 8:00 a.m.
• Access and traffic on 14th Street, Vine Street, 19th Street and R Street in this area will be closed from 5:30 a.m. until approximately one hour after the marathon begins.
• Parking lots and streets in the orange areas in the accompanying map will be closed from 5:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7.
• In the lime green area of the map, 14th Street will be closed from Vine to W Street from 10:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May7. The south entrance of the 14th and Avery Garage will be closed from 5:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 7.
