All vehicles parked on campus must be registered with Parking and Transit Services. This applies even if no parking permit is purchased. Registration provides access to the vehicle driver in case of problems with the vehicle, or changes in the parking area availability, such as construction or snow removal.
Registration is part of the parking permit purchase process and additional steps are not required for permit holders.

With the campus License Plate Recognition program, the vehicle license plate is the registration identifier.
