Change set for campus EV charging process

Electric vehicle charging stations on campus are powered by EV Connect. The EV Connect app launches the charging session and processes payment.

EV Connect has announced a change to the process. The company is implementing a pre-authorization of funds for charging stations. This means that before initiating a charging session, a pre-authorization amount of $25.00 will be placed on the driver’s preferred payment method.

Once the session is complete, the final amount will be charged to the account. Any unused funds will be released back into the account by the user’s bank.
This process is set to take effect on February 26.
