Follow football game day rules for student campus parking

DSC00051 (1).JPG

Campus parking rules change for football game days.
No vehicles are allowed in designated campus parking lots and garages beginning at 10 p.m. the night before a home game.
Vehicles parked in violation of campus rules can be ticketed and towed.

Students living on-campus with resident parking permits can park only in their assigned surface lots or garages on Husker Games Day.
Residents with surface lot or garage permits on City Campus must display a Permit Event Sticker for parking during campus events.
Students with permits for 50/50 and the 18th and R Garage do not need Event Stickers for football games.

Students living off-campus cannot park in regularly assigned campus permit parking areas.

Vehicles with non-resident and commuter student Permit Event Stickers may park in these designated campus areas on Husker Games Day:
• Surface lots at 16th and X Streets (east side of 16th Street near the Boathouse) and 1700 Y Street.
• Fleet Management South, 1700 Y Street.
• Devaney Sports Center lots at 16th and Court Streets, except on Husker Volleyball Games.
• Parking is also available at Business Services.

The Parking Event stickers are required when parking for events; they allow Parking Attendants to identify vehicles that have parking permits. They do not expand access; parking remains limited to designated areas. For details, check UNL Parking Permit Holder Parking https://parking.unl.edu/athletic-events-parking#fb-faculty

If you are a permit holder and need an Event Sticker, get one in person at Parking and Transit Services, 625 Stadium Drive, Suite A.
Present your NCard and receive the sticker.

General parking will be available in posted lots with credit or debit card only.

If you have questions, call Parking and Transit Services at 402-472-1800 in advance.
