The work of the Parking and Transit Services team impacts daily campus life.
One of the largest areas of responsibility is providing parking for vehicles on campus. Parking and Transit Services provide the opportunity for Faculty, Staff and Students to select a parking area and purchase a parking permit that provides the best access for their campus activities.
Parking and Transit Services monitors and protects these parking areas.
It is a big job.
On CITY CAMPUS, 12,163 Faculty, Staff and Students have parking permits.
Options include surface lots, garages, both reserved and non-reserved.
There are 3,613 Faculty and Staff permit holders.
Students hold 8,540 permits.
On EAST CAMPUS, there are 3,099 Faculty, Staff and Student permit holders.
This includes 1,569 Faculty and Staff permits for reserved and non-reserved surface parking lots.
Students hold 1,530 permits with East Campus designation.
The Parking and Transit Services team works to make sure these parking spaces are easily accessible and protected from parking by vehicles without appropriate permits for that area.
