The work of the Parking and Transit Services team impacts on daily campus life for students, faculty and staff.
One of the primary areas of responsibility and impact is providing bus and van services.
These services connect UNL campuses with full weekday routes and schedules. The University contracts with the City of Lincoln StarTran to provide buses. University Parking and Transit Services provides van services.
It is a big job and covers a lot of ground.

• Route 25 is 8.39 miles/round trip.
• Van Route 22 is 3.11 miles/round trip.
• The three routes combined travel of about 19.35 miles with the basic route service.
• The three routes serve a combined 65 bus stops.
Frequent service is standard.
• Stops on Route 22 are served every 15 minutes.
• Stops on Routes 24 and 25 are served every 10 minutes.
• Some stops are served even more frequently if they are along multiple routes. For example, stops around the East Campus loop are served every 5 minutes.
These rides carry a lot of people.
