Construction projects that are part of the Big Red Rebuild of Memorial Stadium will reduce parking availability on the UNL City Campus. Initial restrictions begin Wednesday, July 1, and will continue through the entire project.
The project will require both temporary and permanent parking displacements to accommodate construction staging and infrastructure upgrades.
Changes begin July 1.
The South Stadium parking area will shift to a construction area, and 98 parking spaces will be eliminated. The reduction includes most of the lot’s existing parking area and service access spaces near Avery Hall. Reserved, hourly and Building Systems Maintenance spaces will be affected.
Signs will direct traffic changes and identify parking restrictions.
Additional access and permit parking changes will be implemented as part of construction in the coming months. Details will be shared in advance
