In order to help with site transitions and give more information on added features, multiple updates have been made to the CMS Docs website in the past month.
With the addition of the new Tandem "Basic" option, the page for that component has been expanded with a screenshot of one display option, as well as text with the different visual options that users have.
A full page of information has been added on ContentHub, explaining the basic function of the system as well as how to sync Majors or Majors Options to your site. If you're developing a College or Department site that's currently displaying a Major page, this will help you add the centralized content, as well as instructions on adding it to your navigation.
The News Item content type page has been updated to include information on how to pull news items from Nebraska Today to your site based on tags and display them in your News band and News page.
The Image Best Practices page has been updated with additional information on a couple components that had not been added yet.
An additional training video has been added for advanced topics in Next-Gen CMS development. This video is roughly 70 minutes long and expands on concepts presented in the Next-Gen CMS introduction training, including how to convert existing content into the new site, image optimization, and syncing news items from Nebraska Today.
