2014 UNL Employee Quilt Show - 5th annual!

UNL employees are once again sharing their quilting skills with the public.
This year’s show begins Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Rotunda Gallery in the Student Union at 14th & R St. An Opening Day reception is planned from 5:00-7:00 pm.
The first week viewer’s may vote for their favorite quilt. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners will receive a ribbon on Friday, February 21st.
This year the quilters have accept the “Challenge” and made quilts fitting the Challenge rules of 24” square quilts using only Half Square Triangles. The winner of this category will not only receive a ribbon (of course it is made of only Half Square Triangles), but also a bundle of Fat Quarter (18”x21”) fabrics.
The show will continue in the Rotunda through Friday, February 28th 5:00 pm. It will reopen the next morning, Saturday, March 1st on East Campus at the International Quilt Study Center & Museum on 33rd & Holdrege Sts. That venue of the show will hang through Thursday, March 13th.

Quilt-N is a time for UNL quilters, their families and friends to get together to work on personal projects, learn new techniques, get advice on problems and have a lot of fun!
