Something you have learned as a W.H. Thompson Scholar: I have learned through the WHT program that not only is college a place for education, it is also a place to become a better person. This scholarship not only provides financial security but gives each scholar, including myself, the chance to learn and utilize opportunities that a normal student will more than likely never use.

Something you love most about being a W.H. Thompson Scholar: I love the small classes and having the opportunity to become more than just a number in a big school like UNL. This program really gives everyone the chance to be involved and make something of themselves while providing each student with a huge support system.

Something you are looking forward to this year as a W.H. Thompson Scholar: I am looking forward to making more friends and continuing to grow with the help of many other scholars.

Where you see yourself in 10 years: In ten years, I would like to have my graduate degree in Counseling and have my own practice. I would also like to be in a place where I can think about starting a family.
