CEHS, TLTE grad earns national German teaching award

Ginger Starks Yoble, master's and Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education, has been named the 2017 K-8 Outstanding German Educator by the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG). The national award is given annually in recognition of innovative teaching, extraordinary talent and exceptional leadership in the German teaching profession.

Starks Yoble has taught at Westside Middle School in Omaha since 2007. She was honored by the Westside Board of Education Sept. 5 and will be recognized Nov. 8 at the national AATG convention in Nashville. Yoble's honor is further described on Westside Community Schools' website.
