Mohammad Hasan will be presenting at a workshop on Tuesday, March 11 at 4:00 in Avery 115 with a reception prior to the lecture at 3:30 in Avery 348.

Mohammad Hasan is a Ph.D. researcher in the Distributed Artificial Intelligence Research (DAIR) Lab at the College of Computing and Informatics, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He worked as a full-time faculty member in the electrical engineering & computer science department at North South University (NSU) in Bangladesh from 2007 to 2011.He received a B.Sc. Honors in Physics with a minor in Mathematics and Statistics, and a M.Sc.in Physics (Theoretical Physics track) from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He obtained Master of Applied Information Technology degree from the Monash University in Australia in 2006 under the Australian Development Scholarship. For his entrepreneurial role in initiating and running an ICT based company for rural development of Bangladesh, he has been awarded the AusAID scholarship in 2005. His research interests are in the field of Network Science, Complex Networked Systems, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Non-linear System Dynamics, Applied Mathematics, Statistical Mechanics.
