White House issues call to action

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy has issued a call to action to participate in a nationwide effort to meet the goals of STEM for All through the use of active learning at all grade levels and in higher education. OSTP is seeking commitments to implement active learning strategies in STEM fields, and they are also interested in actions and efforts that will encourage others to do so, including: (1) incentives for PK-12 educators and higher education faculty to implement active learning strategies, (2) investment in professional development opportunities for instructors at every level of education, and (3) training materials and resources for educators to promote the help them use active learning.

You can submit your ideas here by Sept. 23, 2016.
