Graduating seniors and graduate students: sign up now for the Order of the Engineer ceremony (for all ABET-accredited engineering majors). The initiation ceremony is Friday, April 27 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, after the Senior Design Showcase (about 3:45 p.m.). Cost is $20. Register online by April 25 or at the showcase.

Students on Scott Campus: if you want to join the Order of the Engineer this spring and are not able or planning to attend the Senior Design Showcase on the City Campus, contact Carl Nelson or Karen Coen-Brown (below).

The Order of the Engineer is for graduating seniors and graduate students from an ABET-accredited engineering program. Construction management students are not eligible to join.

The Order of the Engineer is an association of engineers dedicated to the teaching, administration, or practice of their profession. To be initiated, you adhere to a professional creed and accept a stainless-steel ring to be worn on the working hand. The obligation is voluntary and for life.

The initiation fee is $20, and interested students can register online (link below) by April 25 or at the showcase.
