NSF's teacher recognition program seeking panelists

The National Science Foundation (NSF) administers the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) program on behalf of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. PAEMST are the nation's highest honors for K-12 teachers of mathematics and science (including computer science). Currently, the PAEMST program seeks administrators; science, mathematics, and STEM education researchers; and others with the expertise to distinguish exceptional K-12 STEM teaching to serve on the PAEMST program's National Selection Committee (NSC). This year's NSC panelists will review applications from K-6 grade mathematics, science, and computer science teachers. Committee review is scheduled for late July and early August 2016 and is conducted virtually, with no travel accommodations needed.

If you are interested in serving as a NSC panelist, please complete the online form by Friday, April 22, 2016. After completing the online form, please email a current resume or biographical sketch to: NSC@paemst.org.
