Apply to be a mentor for First-Year Learning & Scholar Communities by March 26

Do you know what it takes to succeed academically and socially during the first year at UNL? Do you have 6-7 hours per week to commit to mentoring first-year students? Then First-Year Learning & Scholar Communities want YOU to apply to become a mentor! Mentors receive a $1200 stipend, have the option to live in a single room, and build connections with faculty in their academic department.

Applications are available at Abel/Sandoz, Schramm, Smith, Selleck, and Burr front desks or by emailing Jaime Brunton at jbrunton2@unl.edu.

To learn more, send us an email or attend an info session in the Abel STAR Center at 9:15 p.m. March 11 or 8 p.m. March 12. Application deadline is March 26.
