Improve your strength training workouts at two upcoming classes by UNL Campus Rec.

• Olympic Lifting Seminar, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 30
Olympic-style weightlifting tests virtually all of the muscles in an athlete’s body–more muscles than any other single sport. Olympic lifting requires strength, flexibility, speed, and coordination—all the same characteristics of great athletes. See an improvement in your speed, agility, strength, and power. Participants will learn the basic progressions of various Olympic
lifts (the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk).

Cost is $25 for UNL students and open to both men and women. The seminar will meet in the rec center's Strength Training & Conditioning Room. Click link below to register.

• WOW: Women-on-Weights Training Program, 6 to 7 a.m. Tuesdays & Thursdays April 2-30
This unique program offers a month of group training in a comfortable, noncompetitive environment. The W.O.W. program promotes proper muscular strength and endurance training techniques with a certified personal trainer in a small group setting.

Cost is $45 for UNL students and open to women only. The class will meet in the rec center's Strength Training & Conditioning Room. Click link below to register.
