We are excited to present a call for papers for the 2nd Annual Men @ Nebraska Conference!

Men @ Nebraska is a University of Nebraska - Lincoln student organization on campus affiliated with the Women's Center. Our focus is to challenge the traditional dominant ideals of masculinity and create a welcoming environment for all genders. In an effort to do this, we are hosting our second annual Men and Masculinities conference this April.

Our theme is "Making a 'Man': Developing Masculinities." This multidisciplinary conference will be on Friday, April 8th, 2016 from 10 am-2pm. See attached flyer for further details.

This is the only student-centered men and masculinities conference in the region, so we want to invite everyone doing research on these topics to share their work. Consider submitting a proposal, as it is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as staff and faculty. We hope that you will be able to attend this event and encourage others to attend as well. As detailed on the call to present, topics are varied but should be based in academia or practice-based work.

If you have any questions regarding the call to present, please feel free to contact Felipe Longoria at wcmensprograms@unl.edu. Hope to see you there!
