'Coats for Clinton' drive runs through Dec. 6

With winter fast approaching, faculty, staff, students, and friends of the School of Natural Resources will have the opportunity to thin out their closets and unload old or unwanted winter wear for the "Coats for Clinton" program.

Sponsored by the SNR Outreach Committee, "Coats for Clinton" provides hats, gloves, coats and scarves to the less fortunate student families of Clinton Elementary School, where 90 percent of the 496 enrollees are below the poverty line.

Place any used, gently used, or even new winter wear in the "Coats for Clinton" bin located in the Hardin Hall lobby. All sizes—newborn to adult—are needed and welcomed, as are check or cash donations.

The deadline for donations is Dec. 6, and delivery to Clinton Elementary is set for Dec. 7.
