Safe Capture workshop planned

Safe-Capture International will be at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for a 16-hour workshop, "Chemical Immobilization of Animals," at the School of Natural Resources on Dec. 1-2.

Training consists of 14 hours of presentations and lectures, followed by a 2-hour hands-on training session where participants are taught the safe use of blowguns, long range projectors, darts, human protective safety equipment and dart-associated radio-tracking devices.

Cost for the workshop is $645 for early registration, $695 for general registration. A refresher course is also available for those who have previously attended for $395. The student rate is $375.
