A list of media news items that featured faculty, students or staff of the UNL School of Natural Resources over the last two weeks:

• Kelly Helm Smith, with the National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC), was quoted in story in Agriculture.com about slight improvements in drought conditions. http://www.agriculture.com/news/crops/mor-nature-takes-baby-steps-away-from_2-ar27012

• Fuchs was also a source in a Rueters wire service story about recent rainfall easing some drought conditions, but much more moisture was still needed. • Hydrogeologist Steve Sibray was featured in the Scottsbluff Star-Herald in a story about detecting potential uranium deposits in Nebraska by using technology originally created for groundwater sensing.
