'Nanoworld' is theme for undergrad women physical science conference

UNL is bringing together outstanding student researchers in physics for the three-day Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physical Sciences, Oct. 18-20. The conference theme is "The Nanoworld is Not Enough," and will include students from all physical sciences expanding their research experiences and attending scientific talks from leaders in the field.

The conference will highlight progress in materials science, with talks covering all aspects of physics and astronomy. Students from all the physical sciences will participate, expanding their research experiences and attending scientific talks from leaders in the field.

Participants will present their research results to their peers during invited talks and poster sessions. Social activities and special sessions will also provide time to share experiences with other students, to obtain advice for pursuing careers in physics, as well as to visit laboratories on campus.
