ASUN's Health Center town hall is Oct. 18

A discussion about future plans for the University Health Center is 1:30 to 3 p.m. Oct. 18 in the Nebraska Union. Organized by ASUN, the discussion will include Juan Franco, vice chancellor for student affairs; Christine Jackson, vice chancellor for business and finance; and Dr. James Guest, director of the health center.

The presentation is open to faculty, staff and students.

UNL is studying the feasibility of allowing a private health care provider to take responsibility for student health as early as this spring. The university issued an RFP for the student health center in September. One private provider responded to the RFP.
