Commencement exercises begin today

Approximately 2,800 students will receive degrees at UNL commencement exercises May 6 and 7. Graduate commencement is 3 p.m., May 6; undergraduate ceremonies are 9:30 a.m., May 7, both at the Devaney Center. College of Law graduation is 3 p.m., May 7 at the Lied Center. Continue reading…

 

Drummond announces retirement as dean

Wayne DrummondR. Wayne Drummond, dean of the College of Architecture, has announced his intention to retire as dean and return to a faculty position. Drummond has held the post since 2000. Ellen Weissinger, senior vice chancellor for academic affairs, accepted Drummond’s letter of intention with regret.
