The City of Lincoln’s Arena Roads project, the installation of two roundabouts on Salt Creek Roadway, has progressed to the next stage of the project that will further limit access to Stadium Drive.
On May 9, the city began construction on the project closing Salt Creek Roadway and Stadium Drive to through traffic. A local temporary access road north of Memorial Stadium allowed access to Stadium Drive during the beginning of the project.
On July 26 at 9 a.m. the temporary access road that connected Salt Creek Roadway to Stadium Drive will be closed for the final three weeks of the project. Because of the closure, the only accessible entrance to Stadium Drive is through North 10th Street and T Street.
