The 2011 Supplier Showcase is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 18 at the Nebraska Union Centennial Room. Organized by Procurement Services, the event is designed to show faculty and staff new products and services available through a variety of vendors.
The showcase will include representatives and product displays from more than 60 suppliers. Product categories featured include office supplies, furnishings, travel, lodging, audio-visual, computers, printing, bookstore, promotional items and catering.
New this year is a series of breakout sessions that will provide in-depth learning experiences on a variety of topics including UNL’s new e-procurement system, eSHOP. Other breakout topics are Office Depot-brand remanufactured ink cartridges and UNL's Travel Services.
Employees are encouraged to pre-register for the showcase by emailing name and department to procurementevents@unl.edu.
