Career Services Hosts Fall Career Fair
Over the next 3 days, over 300 organizations will be at UNL to talk with students about full-time and internship opportunities in all areas. Local and national employers will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Nebraska Union. The focus of today's event will be on Business, Liberal Arts, Government, Non-Profit, Science and more.

Journalist, Technology Expert Kuo is Thompson Forum Speaker
Kaiser Kuo, a journalist, technology trend-watcher and member of the popular Chinese rock band Tang Dynasty, will give the next lecture in the E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His speech, "Shouting Across the Chasm: Chinese and American Netizens Clash in Cyberspace," is also the Lewis E. Harris Lecture in Public Policy. It will be at 7 p.m. at the Lied Center for Performing Arts, 301 N. 12th St.
Born in the U. S. to Chinese parents, Kuo lives in China and identifies equally as American and Chinese. Formerly director of digital strategy for the Beijing office of a global advertising agency, Kuo has worked as a technology and business writer for publications such as Time, TimeAsia, China Economic Review, and the South China Morning Post, and currently serves as an adviser for Youku.com, a leading video sharing company in China. He also co-founded China's most famous rock band, Tang Dynasty, and continues to be active in the Chinese music scene. Using the Internet as a starting point, Kuo in his lecture will delve into a number of issues at the heart of disagreements between American and Chinese citizens. more....

American Harmony and It Might Get Loud Play at the Ross
UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents American Harmony and It Might Get Loud. It Might Get Loud will screen through October 8, while American Harmony will show through October 15.
