School of Music Hosts Brass Quintet
The University of Nebraska Brass Quintet will give a recital at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets are $3 for student/senior or $5 for general admission, available at the door approx. one hour before the performance.

Office of International Affairs Announces Photo Contest Winners
UNL's Office of International Affairs recently announced the winners of its 2009 spring and summer term study abroad photo contest winners. One winner in each of three categories was selected, and several photos in each category earned honorable mention status.
Sheldon Hosts College Night
The Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln welcomes all students and faculty to College Nights this semester. The first event 5-7 p.m. Oct. 5 will feature student docent tours of the recently opened "Agents of Change: Mexican Muralists and New Deal Artists" exhibition. Mexican appetizers will be offered and live music from several local artists will fill the museum's Great Hall.
This is the fourth year Sheldon has offered a night scheduled specifically for college students. Last winter scores of students, student organizations, classes and instructors enjoyed the refreshments, camaraderie and art. Classes and students from all universities and colleges in the region are welcome to these free events. more...

American Harmony and It Might Get Loud Play at the Ross
UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents American Harmony and It Might Get Loud. It Might Get Loud will screen through October 8, while American Harmony will show through October 15.
