Fall Career Fair NEBRASKA UNION, 10AM - 3PM
Career Services Hosts Fall Career Fair

During the Fall Career Fair over 300 organizations will be at UNL to talk with students about full-time and internship opportunities in all areas. Today, the Nebraska East Union will host the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Career Fair from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., while the Nebraska Union will host the Actuarial Science Career Fair from 4 - 7 p.m.

University Health Center Offers Flu Shot Clinic

A walk-in flu shot clinic for the seasonal flu will be held at the University Health Center from noon until 2:00 p.m. Additional flu clinics will be held at both the University Health Center (UHC) and the East Campus Union during the next month.

Flu vaccinations are $20 and payment by cash or check is required at the time of vaccination. For those with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, a claim will be filed by UHC staff for possible reimbursement, however, you will still need to pay at time of injection. Don't forget to bring your BCBS ID number. No appointment is necessary for the walk-in clinics; seasonal flu vaccinations are also available by appointment at the UHC by calling (402) 472-5000.

You Never Can Tell

UNL's University Theatre Opens Season With "You Never Can Tell"

UNL's Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film's University Theatre opens its season with George Bernard Shaw's "You Never Can Tell" directed by Emeriti Professor Tice L. Miller. The play is a light and witty treatment of the follies of being human, especially when it comes to affairs of the heart.

Performances will be held October 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 all at 7:30 p.m. and October 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Studio Theatre, first floor Temple Building, 12th and R Streets. Tickets are $16, $14 faculty/staff and senior citizen, $10 students with ID. Tickets are available at the Lied Center Ticket Office, 301 N. 12th Street Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the UNL Theatre Tickets website or at the theatre the evening of performance (subject to availability).

CAPS Sponsors National Depression Screening Day

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) of the University Health Center and the Employee Assistance Program are offering education and screenings for a range of common emotional conditions in accordance with National Depression Screening Day.

The free, confidential screenings will be held in the Nebraska Union on city campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and in the East Campus Union from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for UNL students, faculty and staff. All UNL students who complete the screening will be entered into a raffle for an iPod Touch.

American Harmony and It Might Get Loud Play at the Ross

UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents American Harmony and It Might Get Loud. It Might Get Loud will screen through October 8, while American Harmony will show through October 15.
