Alumni Association Offers Study Space

Stop into Wick Alumni Center between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., where the Nebraska Alumni Association is offering a quiet study atmosphere during finals week. There will be free beverages and snacks, and all UNL students are welcome to attend.

'Agents of Change: Mexican Muralists, New Deal Artists' at Sheldon

"Agents of Change: Mexican Muralists and New Deal Artists," an exhibition that illustrates the close ties between the art of Mexico and the United States in the 1930s and 1940s, will continue through Jan. 17 at the Sheldon Museum of Art.

From Sheldon's permanent collection and from the private collection of Norman and Judy Zlotsky, the exhibition presents artworks from the Mexican Muralist Movement, which began as a government-sponsored public art program after the Mexican Revolution of 1910, and from artists working in the Works Progress Administration, created during the Depression in the United States in the 1930s. more...

UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents Bright Star and Paris. Both films will show through December 20.
