Arts and Sciences Celebrate Academic Stars
The College of Arts and Sciences welcomes the campus community to its annual celebration in honor of its Academic Stars at the Van Brunt Visitors Center from 4 - 5:30 p.m.
Appetizers and inspired conversation with members of the faculty, staff and students of the department will be provided.

Recyclemania Into Sixth Week
Recyclemania is in its 6th week and UNL is currently ranked in the bottom 40% of more than 600 schools participating. With new recycling bins in the residence halls and new bins outside, recycling on campus is easier than ever. The Competition is open until March 27.

Final Week of Great Plains Art Museum Exhibits
The Great Plains Art Museum at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln presents 'Searching for Real Nebraska' and the watercolors of Arthur Short Bull in exhibitions showing through February 28.
'Searching for Real Nebraska' presents the work of four UNL photojournalism students who traveled across the state in a camping trailer, keeping a web log of their experiences along the way. They met with Nebraskans in every scale of town, every stage of life, and every socio-economic bracket. more...
Short Bull's 'Places & Narratives' concentrates on areas and events of spiritual significance to the Lakota people. Being raised in a traditional family on the Pine Ridge Reservation gives Short Bull special insight into the history, culture and spirituality of the Lakotas. more...

UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents Gigante and Crazy Heart. Both films will show through Feb. 25.

H1N1 Page at UNL Monitors Flu
The university continues to closely monitor the worldwide and local impact of H1N1 flu.
