Indo-US S&T Forum Director Speaks at Research Fair
The executive director of the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum speaks today as part of this week's UNL Research Fair activities. Arabinda Mitra presents "Indo-US S&T Cooperation – Perspectives and Opportunities" at 3:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union.
Today's Research Fair presentations start with a 9 a.m. panel discussion of the National Science Foundation's ADVANCE program and campus diversity, also in the union. The UNL Research Fair continues through Thursday. View a full schedule and speaker bios online.

N The Know Discusses Chinese Economic Growth
Sang M. Lee, chair of the management department in the college of business administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, talks about the positives and negatives of China's rapid growth in the world economy. Lee will deliver an Honors Forum lecture titled, "China's Economic Miracle and Future Challenges" at 7 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

Sculptor Jones McKean to Give Hixson-Lied Lecture
Visiting sculptor Michael Jones McKean will give the Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist Lecture at 5:00 p.m. in Richards Hall Auditorium. Currently McKean is an Assistant Professor in the Sculpture and Extended Media Department at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
McKean's work is held in a number of public collections, including The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, The Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art, The Archie Bray Foundation, Central Michigan University and The Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts.
The Horse Boy, 35 Shots of Rum Play at the Ross
UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents The Horse Boy and 35 Shots of Rum. Both films will show through April 8.
