UNL Research Fair Wraps Up With Undergrad Research

Undergraduate student research, scholarship and creative activity is featured this afternoon as the 2010 UNL Research Fair wraps up. Students will exhibit their posters from 3-5 p.m. at the Nebraska Union Centennial Room. Students will be on hand to explain their research during the exhibit.

UNL's University Theatre Completes Spring Season with Bloody Poetry
Bloody Poetry

The Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film's University Theatre closes its Spring season with Bloody Poetry, written by Howard Brenton and directed by assistant professor of theatre Ian Borden April 8, 9, 10 & 14, 15, 16, 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Studio Theatre, first floor Temple Building, 12th & R streets.

Tickets are $16; $14 faculty, staff and seniors; and $10 students. Tickets are available at the Lied Center Ticket Office, 301 North 12th Street, by calling 472-4747 or on-line at the UNL Theatre Tickets website.

Moral Courage During the Holocaust is Theme of Lecture at UNL
Alan L. Berger

Alan L. Berger, professor of Judaic studies at Florida Atlantic University, will deliver a lecture titled "Am I My Brother's/Sister's Keeper? Moral Courage During the Holocaust" April 8 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Berger will speak at 7 p.m. in 127 Architecture Hall.

The lecture is free and open to the public and sponsored by the family of Harry "Francis" Cunningham Jr. and the family of Zoltan and Elizabeth Foldes-Roth, as well as the Norman and Bernice Harris Center for Judaic Studies and the College of Architecture at UNL, and the Jewish Federation of Lincoln. more...

 

Academic Planning Committee Budget Hearing is April 9

An agenda has been released for the APC hearing on proposed budget reductions, to be held April 9 at 1:30 p.m. in the Nebraska East Union. The task of the APC is to review the Chancellor's proposed cuts in light of their probable impact on the university's academic mission and approve them or suggest other ways of meeting the budget reduction goal. To accomplish this task, the APC welcomes information from all who may be affected by the proposed reductions.

UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents The Horse Boy and 35 Shots of Rum. Both films will show through April 8.
