General Studies and Career Services Host How to Find a Major Workshop
How to find a major

General Studies and Career Services are teaming up to offer a "How to Find a Major" workshop from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union (room to be announced). The workshop is free and open to all students. The workshop will review ways to determine interests and avenues for finding majors that match these interests.

'Do You Know Your Muslim Neighbor?' open forum is Today
Do you know yoru muslim neighbor

The Muslim Students Association will present an open forum "Do You Know Your Muslim Neighbor?" at 7 p.m., March 29 in the Nebraska Union. The forum is part of the MSA's Islam Awareness Week. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The presentation will feature a student panel of Muslims from around the world. The panel will talk about how Islam plays a role in their lives and how it compares from nation to nation. They'll share personal experiences and run-ins dealing with negative stigmas attached to Islam.

Sheldon Hosts 'Wind on Earth' Event

The Sheldon Museum of Art will host a panel discussion featuring four Native American artists, 5:30 to 7 p.m. The participants in the 'Wind on Earth' panel are serving as artists-in-residence, March 28 to April 1, at the Haydon Art Center, 335 N. Eighth St., Suite A. The event is free and open to the public.

The artists on the panel are Neal Ambrose Smith, a printmaker from Albuquerque, N.M.; John Hitchcok, a printmaker/video/installation artist from Madison, Wis.; America Meridith, a painter from San Francisco; and Melanie Yazzie, a printmaker from Boulder, Colorado.

UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents Phip Ochs: There But For Fortunte and The Films of Susan Muska and Gréta Ólafsdóttir. The Films of Susan Muska and Gréta Ólafsdóttir will have various screenings through Mar. 29, including appearances by the filmmakers for Q&A with the audience. Phip Ochs: There But For Fortunte will play through Mar. 31
