CIC membership expands Libraries' digital resources
Through UNL's membership in the Big Ten Conference and the Committee on Institutional Cooperation, new online databases have been added to the UNL Libraries' collection.
The new resources — which include the Hathi Trust Digital Library and the Vogue Archive — are available by clicking on the "E-Resources" tab or searching at the Libraries website. The Hathi Trust is a growing digital library of nearly 10 million books. The site allows users to download full-text of public domain books available. Read more about this resource in Today@UNL.

Dolence to give strategic planning presentation
Michael Dolence, a leading experts on strategic planning in higher education, will discuss "The Future of Higher Education" at 10:30 a.m. in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, room 212. The presentation is open to the public.
Dolence is perhaps best known for his continued innovation in developing effective and efficient planning and management processes for higher education. He is the architect and developer of the curriculum-centered strategic planning model, the learner-centered curriculum framework, and the curriculum-centered enrollment management model. His pioneering work on the development of his "Strategic Decision Engine," culminated in the book "Working Toward Strategic Change." Read more about Dolence and this presentation in Today@UNL.
'Three Musketeers' opens University Theatre's spring season
The University Theatre's production of "The Three Musketeers" opens Feb. 23 and continues through March 3 in the Howell Theatre on the first floor of the Temple Building.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 23-25 and 29, and March 1-3. Tickets for individual performances are $16 general admission; $14 faculty, staff and senior citizens; and $10 for students with a valid NCard. Season passes are also available. The production features Ken Ludwig's adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel. The adaptation was commissioned by the Bristol Old Vic in England and premiered on Dec. 6, 2006. Talk to feature brand consultant Josh Rubin
University Program Council presents Josh Rubin, the founder and editor of the blog, "Cool Hunting," in the Nebraska Union Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
Rubin, a brand consultant, entrepreneur and trend setter will be presenting "From Great Idea to Successful Innovation." This event is free for UNL students with valid NCard and $5 for faculty, staff, and the public. Read more about this talk in Today@UNL.
HARDIN HALL AUDITORIUM, 5PM
Second 'Green Fire' screening is today
A free screening of "Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time" will be offered 5 to 7 p.m.,, in the Hardin Hall auditorium.
The film was screened earlier this month. Scott Hygnstrom, professor and extension wildlife damage specialist for the School of Natural Resources, said graduate students unable to see the film requested a second screening.
