Nebraska 4-H is asking 4-H families involved in dog, cat, rabbit and companion animal projects to fill out a survey at https://forms.gle/9LRYGjM1qZweuC4e8 about types of workshops, topics and modes of teaching are preferred to help with planning for next year.
The Nebraska Make It With Wool Contest will be Saturday, Nov. 21 in Lexington at the Dawson County Extension Office. The contest is open to youth of all ages and adult sewers. The Catch-a-Calf practical beef management program is open to enrolled 4-H’ers in Neb., Wyo., Colo., Kan. CO, WY or KS, ages 12–18 (as of Dec. 31, 2020). Participants catch a calf, feed it and return with the animal one year later as a market steer. Continue reading…
