The Catch-a-Calf practical beef management program is open to enrolled 4-H’ers in Neb., Wyo., Colo., Kan. CO, WY or KS, ages 12–18 (as of Dec. 31, 2020). Participants catch a calf, feed it and return with the animal one year later as a market steer. The contest will be held during the National Western Stock Show, Jan. 15–17, 2021.
